I just wanted to take a minute and thank all of the parents for all of the work that you are doing this year. The team dinners are great and we really appreciate all of your efforts. I hope you all can be there tonight at the game. It looks like we should be having good weather for the game and would be a great opportunity for you to invite a friend to the game.
This years motto or slogan is "Teamwork" and "Be the best version of yourself." Some of you are doing your best, some of you are coasting and some of you are actually trying to fail. We have spoken several times through the season about this and you will continue to hear about this from me as long as I am coaching and am a part of your lives. You can change and you can be better. You can be the best version of yourself. I posted last night that the future comes one day at a time. It is your job to live each day being your best. Some of you have a lot of catching up to do and it is not going to be easy. Nor should it be. The price must be paid. It is up to you whether you make those payments day by day or if you choose to play catch up and pay in a lump sum. The day by day payment costs less in the long run and is worth more. There are no missed games because of grades, no guilt because you know you aren't doing what your supposed to be doing. There is only confidence in oneself knowing that you are doing and being your best.

The Decision is yours and I believe that you will make the right decision. Start today if you haven't already started and in the words of Winston Churchill, "Never, Never, Never Give up."
